6 Super Fun Valentine’s Day DIY Crafts for Kids

February is here, and in our household, that means bring on the Valentine’s Day crafts! I enjoy coming up with my own ideas, but there are times when I don’t feel all that creative. And let’s be real — who doesn’t love Pinterest?? I always turn to this app when I want to feel inspired, and there are SO many fun, easy activities on there for you to do with kids of all ages. Here are a few of my favorites this year. I hope you have as much fun doing these as my little ones and I will!

1 The Resourceful Mama: Heart Craft for Valentine’s Day

What I love most about this craft is it’s simple, adorable, and you probably have all the materials you need lying around your home! (Okay, maybe not the googly eyes…could be just me.) Use these heart guys and girls to put on your own little puppet show.

2 Glued to my Crafts: Craft Foam Heart Valentine Pizza

This one is perfect for toddlers/preschoolers who are just learning to play pretend and developing fine motor skills and small muscle movements. Little ones will have fun working with various shapes and assembling their very own heart-shaped pizzas.

3 The Chirping Moms: Paper Plate Valentine Bear

How cute are these teddies?! The Chirping Moms’ Valentine’s bears can double as wall decor and masks your kids would love playing with for endless hours of fun!

4 Red Ted Art: Toilet Roll Love Bugs

There are so many ways to get crafty with toilet paper rolls, and what better way to say “I larva you” than with DIY love bugs? These are perfect for kindergarteners and will be a great hit for your Valentine’s Day kids’ party!

5 iHeartCraftyThings: Handprint Heart Tree

My favorite thing about handprint crafts is they make the perfect keepsake — a reminder of how little your not-so-little-ones once were. Children will enjoy tracing their hands and covering them in hearts to show loved ones just how much they mean to them.

6 Simple Everyday Mom: Easy Photo Valentine Wreath Craft for Kids

Photo Valentine’s crafts make the sweetest gift! Kids will love adding their own special touch on this one — what’s more unique than your beautiful face? — and munching on Sweethearts here and there while you make them.
