I finally mustered up the courage to watch the full video of George Floyd’s murder. I feel sick. I feel defeated. I am furious.
Another day, another senseless black death at the hands of men who swore an oath “to protect and serve.”
Who Will Be Next?
My father?
My brother?
Maybe a cousin or a neighbor?
Or perhaps…
One of my precious, melanin-rich children?
Enough is enough.
